Introduction of the Author

The author is the founder of the Barun Maek Academy, Barun Maek Research Society, an United States based non-profit cultural corporation, and the Barunmaek Research Society. With the establishment of the Barunmaek Academy in Korea in 2007, She began the Barun Maek research activity based on Yin-Yang Five Elements in earnest, and has conducted education and research on more than 300 members of the Barunmaek Academy.

She has applied Yin-Yang Five Elements of tradition to all areas of life and the environment, comprehensively practicing many empirical cases to help people recover their health, enhance virtue, family harmony, improve interpersonal relationships, communication and emotional regulation, organizational management and environmental management, and community health recovery.

A total of six Barun Maek curriculum textbooks, including the English Barun Maek’s Introduction Course and Barun Maek Reference Book for Lecturers, were copyrighted by the U.S. federal government in 2019. Based on the above six books, in 2023, we published “Chinese Ancient Science of Yin-Yang Five Elements: Barun Maek Research(中國古代陰陽五行科學正脈研究) ” in an dual language version of the English and the Chinese.

There is Barun Maek Time, a series of Barun Maek videos for readers who want to study Barun Maek, and can be found on the content platform Gan Jing World in Korean, English, and Chinese.

 Through Barun Maek Research, her research and activities continue so that Chinese Ancient Science of Yin-Yang Five Elements can establish itself as a wise and healthy living culture for modern people and future generations in the United States.
