Excerpts from the Article Translated to English:

The Way of Balance between Yin, Yang, and Zhong and Its Gifts

In ancient China, Yin and Yang were considered to be prepared by the creator. The manifestation of Yin and Yang is an opposite comparative concept. If facing the earth is Yin, facing the sky is Yang. If dim or blurry colors belong to Yin, bright and vivid colors belong to Yang. If the interior is Yin, and the exterior is Yang. If the tranquil state is Yin, the dynamic state is Yang. If plants belong to Yin, animals belong to Yang. If the material world belongs to Yin, the spiritual world belongs to Yang. If recognition belongs to Yang, action belongs to Yin.

Yin and Yang are also related in appearance. The same object, compared to different objects, can have different Yin-Yang characters such as Liquid water relative to Ice is Yang, but relative to water vapor, it is Yin. This Yin and Yang exist in different proportions in human bodies, plants, animals, stones, air, water, and other substances of this realm.

Zhong” is formed in reality by the combination of Yin and Yang so reflects the balance between Yin and Yang. Once Yin and Yang become imbalanced, heaven and earth may be affected. The form of the disaster is evident. People exist between heaven and earth, their bodies The body (Yin) combines with the spirit (Yang) to form a person’s reality(Zhong). The imbalance between Yin and Yang in the human body can show a variety of physical and mental health issues and disease risk such as dizziness, breathing difficulties, depression, or impulsive tendencies  into the human body and mind.

From a life perspective, using the body is Yin. Using the brain is Yang. Life is healthy when the proportion is well balanced. In modern society, more people have to use their brains than their bodies.

This lacking in using the body is reflected in human pregnancy and childbirth. There is a flood of books and information on pregnancy and childbirth, but infertility rates have increased. It is not easy to give birth through natural delivery.

It was a few weeks ago. An acquaintance who had been receiving counseling on human relations using the ”Barun Maek Research’’ contacted me ahead of the birth. She lives in California and had an induced early birth to a baby since the baby is over weight. The doctor in charge is ethnically Indian and is interested in traditional ideas and culture. The doctor recommended ‘Barun Maek‘ to help my acquaintance’s earlier delivery in a natural way before attempting induction delivery at the hospital.

I counseled that the energy of the acquaintance had to be lowered  through food, clothing, and shelter life so that the fetus could come down. When she talks a lot and thinks a lot, her energy goes up to her brain, so she restricts the use of cell phones, and internally communicates with the fetus, and focuses on the signals from the body. Remove the surrounding items that make her look high, and keep pretty and noticeable items low. While keeping her lower body warm, do lower body-oriented exercises, sit down at a lower level than the sofa and stretch your legs when she rests.

I asked her to eat foods with downward energy, especially seaweed that grows further down than plants on the ground level. The hospital also tells you to walk a lot if you have a late birth, which is also desirable in terms of the Yin-Yang relationship due to using your lower body. The acquaintance gave birth two days later after following counseling intensively, while stimulating acupoints on her relative meridians to lower the energy. This was the fourth case of assisting a natural childbirth by applying the principles of Yin-Yang understood in the ‘Barun Maek Research‘ instead of induced birth at the hospital.
