Who we are
Barun Maek Research Society is an international group of educators and community leaders who promotes the teaching and dissemination of the Chinese ancient science of Yin Yang Five elements. Through courses, education, seminars, research and counseling, the Barun Maek Research Society reintroduces how to apply the understanding of Yin Yang Five Elements in a modern context.
Barun Maek Research Society’s mission is to help people improve their health, moral alignment, relationships, communication, emotional regulation, family dynamic, community and in the end, the larger world.
What we do
Barun Maek Research Society holds an annual seminar where we share our progress for the year. Each person present shares how they were able to apply Yin Yang Five Elements to their life and overcome hardship and spiritually grow.
Barun Maek serves all those who are curious through introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses. Our students are encouraged to work on a research project where they apply the Chinese ancient science framework to themselves to improve aspects of their health, spirit, family or community.
What we offer
- Education: Education: Barun Maek offers introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses that teach how to utilize the Yin Yang Five Elements framework in examining ourselves, society and our interactions with nature.
- Counseling: When individuals and families seek consulting services to deal with challenges at home, in ourselves or at work we offer counseling over the phone or in person. Through counseling we can assist in evaluating how our problems fit into the Yin Yang Five Elements framework. Once we identify the problem, we can offer possible solutions.
- Cost Savings: If we learn to regulate our health and emotions through the framework, we can often decrease impulsive and shortsighted reactions to our problems. This can add up to huge savings over a lifetime. Many health problems are related to poor impulse and emotional control. The framework offers solutions to these problems that can prevent larger issues.
- Consulting: Barun Maek provides opportunities for companies to reassess their business practices to align with Yin Yang Five Elements. Realigning employees to understand our assessment methods can influence team formation, resulting in a more harmonious work environment. Through these programs and services, Barun Maek helps advance individuals' impact on the larger world.
